Your Regatta Chronograph can be set for a departure anywhere from 10 min. to 2 min. to go.
You can set it on the minute of departure at  your choice and adapt it thus to the Regattas in which you will participate.

To retake the minute of departure:  yesterday you participated in a Regatta with a departure given at 10 min. Today you are taking a departure given at 5 min, but you forgot to change the setting. You notice it only 2 min after the race has started. don't worry, you can still retake those 5 minutes of difference before the shot.
