However, we suggest you to clean the back of your watch before opening the case back. This will avoid dust to enter into the case which may damage the movement. This is very important before you have the battery changed, especially in department stores where they miss frequently to clean the case back . Your battery is intended to last an average of 24 months. Some can last more than 36 months as others have to be changed after 24 months. This is absolutely normal.
