The mechanical self-winding automatic movements used to produce the regata watches from the sixtenn's until the end of the eighteen's didn't allow to adapt  themselves to the new regata rules.


During the last past ten year, AQUASTAR concentrated its efforts on diving watches and has launched in the market a chronograph declined in 2 versions. The diving watches were provided with mechanical self-winding movements and the chronograph was available either with a quartz or with a mechanical automatic movement.
